Bio
Patrick J. Matthews joined Horing Welikson Rosen & Digrugilliers, P.C. as an Associate in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick spent 12 years primarily practicing transactional real estate, where he represented purchasers, sellers and institutional and private lenders, for both residential and commercial properties. He also represented boards of directors for cooperative and condominium-run buildings, along with owners and management companies of multifamily properties.
Patrick has extensive experience successfully negotiating short sales, and is incredibly adept at clearing complex title issues. He has also represented clients in a range of other legal issues, such as real estate litigation, surrogacy proceedings and entertainment law. He is also a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker.
Since joining the firm, Patrick has used his extensive experience in the transactional real estate department and in housing litigation to advocate zealously for landlords throughout the State.
Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western New England University, and his Juris Doctorate from New England Law School, where he additionally attended Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, studying internation law, mediation and arbitration.
Patrick is licensed to practice law in both New York and Massachusetts.
