Michael C. Rowan joined Horing Welikson Rosen & Digrugilliers PC as an associate in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Michael spent ten years as in-house counsel for one of New York City’s largest and most successful landlords. During those years, Michael worked closely with Horing Welikson Rosen & Digrugilliers, P.C. as a client responsible for dozens of multi-dwelling buildings and for initiating the legal process against thousands of NYC tenants. Based upon this experience, Michael has a unique ability to relate to the challenges faced by landlords, property managers and agents in and out of housing court.
Since starting with the firm, Michael has become a coveted asset for clients looking for consultation in the legal arena of landlord-tenant law, from the perspective of an attorney who was in their exact position for a decade. Michael is able to answer any questions about potential cases, what to commence, how and when to commence, and has a wide array of legal knowledge and input as a former client on pending litigation matters. Michael will also be able to provide tailored advice and strategic guidance for day-to-day operations of your business.
Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was an active member of the Mediation Clinic. Before law school, Michael earned his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
