Bio

Linda joined Horing Welikson Rosen & Digrugilliers, P.C. as a Member of the firm in 2022, along with her husband and fellow Member, David J. Burton. Prior to joining the firm, she was a member of Burton & Burton, P.C. for 17 years, where she expertly practiced landlord tenant law and commercial and residential real estate matters. 

Linda has more than 30 years of experience representing residential and commercial property owners throughout the state in Housing, Civil and District Courts, as well as in the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Linda possesses specialized expertise in the area of affordable housing governed by the Low-Income Tenant Housing Tax Credit (LITHC) regulations, as well as in the laws governing the state-funded Mitchell Lama Program. She also has a multitude of experience representing various cooperative corporations, guiding and advising them in terms of corporate governance and related landlord tenant matters.

Linda received her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and her undergraduate degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany.

Linda is admitted to practice law in New York State.
