Bio

Amiel E. Bowers joined the firm in 2022 as an associate in the Administrative Law Department. 

Before joining the firm, Amiel practiced at a high-profile real estate consulting firm, where she regularly appeared before the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) to address violations issued to building owners by the New York City Department of Buildings, Fire Department, Department of Environmental Protection, and Department of Sanitation. She also spent several years representing claimants seeking Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Insurance benefits in more than 500 SSA hearings across the United States, with a primary focus in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. 

Amiel received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2012, where she earned a Certificate in International Law with High Honors. Prior to attending FSU Law, Amiel received her B.A in Classical Studies – Ancient Greek and Latin from Boston University in 2009, graduating cum laude and with several appearances on the Dean’s List. 

Amiel is admitted to practice law in both New York and Massachusetts.
