Amanda Hegyes joined Horing Welikson Rosen & Digrugilliers, P.C. as an associate in 2016.  She has gained immeasurable experience routinely appearing in the New York City, Westchester and Long Island courts to handle housing litigation proceedings, and now primarily represents the Firm’s clients in Queens County Civil Court. Amanda is also an active member of the Firm’s Administrative Law Department, and has been successful in assisting owners before the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, including defending against rent overcharge claims and building-wide service complaints.  She has also assisted clients with Substantial Rehabilitation and Major Capital Improvement applications, TPU Audits, annual registration requirements and the preparation of Petitions for Administrative Review (PAR).

In addition to the above, Amanda is involved in all phases of defending complaints before the State Division of Human Rights and the NYC Commission on Human Rights. Amanda regularly defends the firm’s clients before the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, Environmental Control Board and on building and fire code violations in New York City Criminal Court.

Amanda also has experience in the Supreme Courts of New York City, where she has been involved in the successful litigation of complex matters, and consistently secured favorable outcomes, including summary judgment, and the entry of substantial awards, on behalf of her clients.
